“We are here to awaken from our illusion of separateness.”
– Thich Nhat Hanh
Kinga Patryce Bąk, PMHNP-BC
My work is guided by deep respect for the complexity and mystery of each individual. My areas of practice include psychiatry in my role as a psychiatric nurse practitioner, transpersonal psychotherapy as a certified psychedelic therapist, meditation and asana instruction in the Classical Ashtanga yoga tradition and energy healing initially experienced as an innate gift in childhood and which I then studied in the Mikao Usui Reiki lineage.
In blending these modalities, my practice is based on the philosophy that the body’s inherent ability to repair itself can be tapped into with an intention focused approach to healing and in creating space for the needs of mind-body-essence (spirit).
My practice draws on principles of integrative and naturopathic medicine, while my personal experiences with plant medicine, Yogic philosophy and Vajrayana Buddhism have also shaped my broader theoretical perspective.
As a psychiatric provider, my clinical toolkit includes ketamine, conventional psychiatric prescription medications and over the counter herbal therapies.
Healing Begins Within
My pronouns are She/Hers and I am attuned to spiritual and somatic aspects of emotional dysregulation. I owe many of my strengths to a diversity of life experience, including having been a child-refugee, an artist, and most recently, a three-time cancer survivor. As a result of my own experience of trauma and healing, I feel a strong calling to being of service to others, and a deep curiosity about consciousness, resilience, meaning-making and what it takes to traverse the path from survival to self-liberation.
In working together, it is my goal to support you in reconnecting with your true nature and to hold a safe space as you access your inner-healing wisdom. Together, utilizing the mind-body-spirit medicine model, we will potentiate self-healing, returning mind and heart into alignment and the state of coherence that paves the path for lasting change.
